REO Speedwagon Screen Saver Installation

The following are directions for downloading and installing the REO Speedwagon screen saver. Before downloading and installing the screen saver, it is important that you read and agree to the license agreement.

1. Create a temporary folder on your computer; REOTEMP, for example.

2. Download the screen saver. When your browser asks where you want to save it, specify the folder you created in step 1. Download the screen saver by clicking here.

3. Run REOSS.EXE. That will decompress the installation files, one of which is SETUP.EXE.

4. Run SETUP.EXE. That will run the installation program.

5. The installation program will ask you what folder it should use to install the software, and it will suggest C:\Program Files\REO. Accept the suggested folder or specifiy another, but do not specify the same folder that you created in step 1.

6. The installation program may display the following dialog (if it doesn't, skip to step 8):

   

   Simply click OK. It will copy a few files and display this dialog:

   

   Click Yes.

7. When Windows restarts, run SETUP.EXE again.

8. When the installation program is done, you will have an icon called REO Speedwagon Screen Saver in your Start menu. It's actually an instruction manual with directions on how to configure and engage the screen saver. You can run it whenever you want.

9. Delete the temporary folder you created in step 1. Doing so will also delete the files contained in that folder.
